Real Good for Free is about the corporate art world, the money that moves through it, its proximity to the opioid crisis, and the moral compromises that confront a group of friends enmeshed in it.Camille, Jo, Lucy and Billie gather annually to commemorate their friend Julia, who died of an overdose. But a long-simmering conflict between Jo—who works for the consulting firm McKinsey—and Lucy, an artist and burgeoning activist, tests the bonds of their friendship.
